Ford and Lincoln sales in the Middle East closed 2012 on a high note, breaking the 75,000 unit barrier – a 10 per cent year over year growth. Sales of both brands in the last quarter of 2012 jumped an outstanding 42 per cent year over year according to Larry Prein, Ford Middle East’s managing director who is confident that the momentum will be equally strong for 2013.
In Ford’s Silicon Valley Lab, Dave Evans creates a custom vehicle gauge and emails the 3D design to Zac Nelson in Dearborn. Nelson uses the MakerBot® Thing-O-Matic™ at his workstation and prints up a physical prototype.
