Arabian Motors Group To Show Off Ford and Lincoln Line Up at 360 MALL’s Auto Moto 2015

14/01/15

Kuwait, 14 January 2015 - Arabian Motors Group (AMG), the Ford and Lincoln importer-dealer in Kuwait will showcase the latest Ford and Lincoln products at the upcoming Auto Moto show taking place next week at the 360 MALL.

Ford and Lincoln models will be displayed in two separate stands at the mall, while offering visitors the chance to experience the drive via test-drives at dedicated spots in the Mall’s parking lot.

“We are truly excited to present our 2015 lineup to our customers in Kuwait,” said Ian Partridge AMG’s Group Sales Operations manager. “Show visitors will be delighted when they see the 2015 models of nameplates they have grown to love, like the iconic all-new 2015 Ford Mustang along with the all new F150 as well as the newly refreshed 2015 Lincoln Navigator and the first-ever Lincoln MKC.

“We carefully chose the vehicles on display to demonstrate the wide variety of our offering to the public,” he added. “Complementing the superb line up is an excellent opportunity for our customers to test drive the models on the spot.”

Leading the Ford charge are the 2015 models Ford Mustang, Ford Fusion, Ford Expedition and the all-new Ford F-150 – which just walked away with the ultimate crown of the North American Truck of The Year earlier this week at NAIAS in Detroit. All four models show the advance technologies developed by Ford Motor Company from engine choices to driver-assist and safety features and technologies such as the widely acclaimed EcoBoost® engine, Lane Keeping System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Park Assist, Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, SYNC® with MyFordTouch® and many more.

Ford Mustang
Loaded with innovative technologies and delivering high levels of performance and style, the all-new Mustang is the next chapter in the life of one of the world’s most iconic cars. The Mustang is the first car to offer four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines that each produces at least 300 horsepower. With more powertrain options to choose from, there is a Mustang to fit any lifestyle. The 3.7-liter V6 and upgraded 5.0-liter V8 are joined by an all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine that brings state-of-the-art technology to Mustang.

The clean-sheet design of both Mustang fastback and convertible evokes the essential character of the brand, retaining key design elements – including the long sculpted hood and short rear deck – with contemporary execution.

Ford Expedition
The 2015 Expedition arrives with a refreshed new look, an EcoBoost® Twin Turbo engine with a quieter cabin and more technology than previous-generation vehicles. It will be the latest Ford nameplate to offer a high-end Platinum series.

With the new power plant, Expedition will be among the full-size SUV leaders for capability, generating an impressive 365 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque. Add best-in-class maximum cargo space for the extended-length version and available best-in-class towing of up to 9,200 pounds when properly equipped, and customers will find a truly useful utility vehicle.

Ford F-150
The all-new 2015 Ford F-150 is the reinvention of America’s favorite truck. It is the toughest, smartest and most capable F-150 ever – setting the standard for the future of trucks. The all-new F-150 delivers an impressive combination of power, capability and efficiency – from advanced materials that improve durability and inhibit corrosion, to faster processors that enhance driving performance, to breakthrough cargo management and towing solutions.

A range of four engines provides more power to meet almost any customer need. A new 2.7-liter EcoBoost with standard Auto Start-Stop and a 3.5-liter V6 engine with twin independent variable camshaft timing join the proven 3.5-liter EcoBoost and 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8. The 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine features a lightweight, compact design to deliver the same power as some mid-range V8s.

Ford Fusion
Ford Fusion is a game-changer on all fronts thanks to its rich array of unexpected features and segment-first or even segment-exclusive technologies that truly make it stand out from the rest. We are confident it will witness the same level of response here as it does globally.

The Fusion mid-size sedan offers an unprecedented portfolio of segment leading driver assistance and convenience technologies based on sensors, cameras and radar that enable the car to see and respond.

In the Lincoln stable, two strong contenders in the luxury utility vehicle segment take center-stage, the full-size Lincoln Navigator and the compact, first-ever Lincoln MKC. Both vehicles exhibit what luxury vehicles should be – enhanced driving dynamics, innovative technologies and safety features, refined elegance in both interior and exterior design and utmost comfort.

Lincoln Navigator
Under the hood of the new Lincoln Navigator is an EcoBoost® engine that delivers outstanding power on demand while also providing best-in-class fuel economy for the standard-wheelbase 4x2 model. The twin-turbocharged, direct-injected engine is rated at 380 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and 460 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,750 rpm by the Society of Automotive Engineers.

Bumper to bumper, roof to floor, the 2015 Navigator was built with a comfortable passenger experience in mind. Acoustic laminated glass called SoundScreen®, enhanced carpet, headliner and insulated door and floor panels combine to create a quieter interior.

Lincoln MKC
The all-new Lincoln MKC is a unique creation from the ground up with an assortment of first-in-class features. Its all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine offers excellent performance while its ingeniously implemented wraparound liftgate is an example of masterful customer convenience.

The luxurious interior embraces driver and passengers alike, and its new and innovative technology personalizes the MKC ownership experience. Lincoln MKC follows the MKZ sedan to become the second all-new Lincoln in as many years as the brand continues its reinvention.
