  • Open to all automotive and lifestyle journalists in the country, Ford Philippines is now accepting nominations for the annual 15th Henry Ford Awards (HFA) program across 14 categories.
  • Ford has added two new categories: Automotive Road Safety Feature and Ford Automotive Video Feature.

MANILA, Philippines, 27 August 2015– Ford Philippines is now accepting entries for the 15th Henry Ford Awards (HFA), the country’s premier and only award giving body for excellence in automotive journalism.

The HFA distinguishes and celebrates the vital roles that journalists play in writing and driving the growth of the automotive industry and remains to be the exclusive award-giving body that recognizes journalism excellence in print, online and broadcast media.

“We at Ford are proud of our legacy of recognizing the hard work that our media partners do and the commitment they put into ensuring their stories and reports are done with integrity and passion. As we go into the 15th year of the Henry Ford Awards, we are more than proud to be continuing our support to uphold excellence in automotive journalism,” said Joseph Ayllón, assistant vice president, Communications, Ford Philippines.

In 2014, Ford Philippines recognized first-time winners like Kristine Fonacier of Grid Magazine, Carlo Chungunco of TopGear Philippines, ANC’s Tony Velasquez, Photographer Alfred Mendoza, and Eugene Araneta with a special recognition to Manila Times for winning the Best Automotive Broadsheet.

Ford has added two new categories to the Awards this year: Automotive Road Safety Feature Story, which highlights a company or automotive brand’s commitment to emphasize the importance of road safety; and Ford Automotive Video Feature, which gives an in-depth review or analysis of a Ford vehicle, its key features, launches, and media drives.
