7-Speed Automatic Transmission

Rotary Gear Shifter
The All-New Ford Territory comes equipped with a Rotary Gear Shifter, enabling you to conveniently take control of gearshifts with the simple turn of a rotary dial that’s located in the center console. There’s also a unique feature incorporated into the system to help avoid accidental damage to the vehicle. Like automatic return to park, whereby the system automatically engages the parking gear when the engine is turned off; or in the event the driver’s safety belt is unlatched, or the driver’s door is open before the vehicle is shifted into Park.
