Expert Terrain Management System
Be it work or a weekend adventure nothing should stop you. The F-150 Tremor is equipped with a Terrain Management System with seven modes; Normal, Slippery, Sport, Tow/Haul, Off Road, Baja and Rock Crawl. Add to that, the new features like Tail Control™ with Trail 1-Pedal Drive. So be it dirt, sand or rock you tackle it all and drive on.
TORSEN®Package
The package enhances the off-road prowess of your F-150 Tremor even more with the 4.10 Front-Axle with TORSEN® differential and Rigid® LED fog lamps. The unique torquesensing ability of this differential keeps the engine power going to the ground during changing traction conditions. The Rigid LED fog lamps illuminate your way in the most difficult conditions.
Trail Turn Assist
This feature assists the driver by reducing the vehicle’s turning radius in a low-speed, technical off-road environment that requires large steering input. This is accomplished through application of negative (Brake) torque to the inside rear wheel of the turning vehicle. Trail Turn Assist heightens off road fun by reducing the driver’s effort required to negotiate difficult off-road terrain.
Trail Control™
The system is a cruise control setting for low-speed trail driving and relieves the stress of constantly adjusting throttle and braking when off-roading.
Trail 1-Pedal Drive
The system enables very low-speed crawling and the ability to stop the vehicle without using the brake pedal. When the driver lifts off the accelerator pedal, hydraulic brake torque is applied automatically bringing the vehicle to a stop.
