Ford Named One of LinkedIn’s 2015 “Top 50 Most InDemand Employers in Middle East and North Africa”

23/12/15

  • The largest social networking platform in the world dedicated to professionals ranks Ford as the top automotive-related employer in MENA region for 2015
  • InDemand list represents the most sought-after companies based on billions of interactions between LinkedIn's 395 million-plus members
  • Rather than relying on questionnaires, the InDemand employer rankings measured the actual behaviour of professionals on LinkedIn, placing Ford at number 43

DUBAI, UAE, December 23, 2015 – Ford Motor Company has been recognised as one of the world’s most attractive employers for 2015, according to LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network on the internet. In the “Top 50 Most InDemand Employers in Middle East and North Africa” list released, Ford ranks 43rd, and is the only global automotive OEM to appear on the business-orientated social networking service’s list.

According to LinkedIn, the InDemand list represents the most sought-after companies based on billions of interactions between LinkedIn's 395 million-plus members and employers’ company pages, as well as employee profiles, and job postings.

“At Ford our greatest resource is our employees, and this honour is a testament to their hard work and dedication. We work hard at Ford to create an exciting and high-performing work environment that provides challenging and rewarding careers,” said Jim Benitende, President of Ford Middle East and Africa. “We are incredibly pleased to be honoured as the top automotive company on the ‘Top 50 Most InDemand Employers in the Middle East and North Africa’, and this will help motivate us to continue to engage our employees in new and interesting ways in 2016.”
