Thanks to the wireless versions of Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto smartphone technology, connecting your compatible iPhone® or Android device is quick, easy, and cable-free. This feature lets you stow your phone out of sight, making it easier to stay focused on the road. And with available wireless charging on some models2, you can enjoy an uncluttered cabin.

Pairing your smartphone to SYNC®4 is easy:

  1. Make sure Bluetooth® is enabled on your smartphone.
  2. Press the Home button, then press the Phone icon.
  3. Tap Add a Phone on your vehicle’s SYNC®4 screen and follow the prompts.
  4. A pop-up will appear on the SYNC®4 screen with a passcode.
  5. Verify that the code on SYNC®4 matches the code on your Android or Apple® compatible.
