Ford Trail Control


When you’re out riding uneven terrain or steep grades, the Ford Trail Control technology makes all the difference, by working with the braking and throttle systems to give you even more control at the wheel. To help you navigate around tricky bends in the road, simply switch on its first-to-segment Trail Turn Assist. When activated, the system will reduce your turning radius by applying the brakes to the inside rear wheel, provided you are moving in low-speed,
high-steering-angle maneuvers.

The real adventure begins when you’re driving the 2024 Expedition Timberline 4x4 model. Readily equipped to take you off road, its high-output engine offers
best-in-class power with 440 horsepower and 691 N.m. of torque, impressive towing capability and enhanced technology. Even the front bumper design,
carried over from the F-150 Raptor provides an improved approach angle with a front skid plate and underbody shielding. There’s also a standard Hi/Low
transfer case, allowing you to switch between 4x2 and 4x4 seamlessly on the fly making your off-road experience in a Timberline feel effortless as well
as limitless.

Readily equipped to take you off road, its high-output engine offers best-in-class power with 440 horsepower and 691 N.m. of torque, impressive towing capability and enhanced technology. Even the front bumper design, carried over from the

That’s when the available Control Trac® 4WD System with Electronic Limited-Slip Differential kicks in to offer better traction. When activated, this system locks the rear axle completely to optimize traction at both wheels simultaneously, improving off-road performance when the terrain requires it. And it’s smooth sailing from there. This feature is standard on the Timberline model and on all 4x4 Expeditions.
