For an Apple® or Android™ device you need to have Bluetooth® on. Then, from the Home screen:
- Press Settings
- Press Phone List
- Press Add Phone
And then follow the prompts.
You will be asked whether you would like to enable Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™, depending on the type of device you have.
Once connected, you can manage your contacts, ringtone, messaging, handsfree options and other notifications by tapping the settings icon under the Phone Settings tab.
To delete a phone profile, tap the trash can icon in the Phone Settings menu.
With your phone connected you will then be able to control your phone’s features using just your voice – a long press on the Voice Assistant button on the steering wheel will activate your smartphone if connected.
Some phones may not support wireless connectivity, but you can still enjoy Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™ by plugging in.
