BLIS®

Blind spots. No car design has ever been able to totally eliminate them. So we’ve given you the next best thing. Another ‘set of eyes’
that looks out for vehicles you may not see at first glance when changing lanes.

blis radar
  • Your ‘eyes’ are two multiple-beam radars in the rear quarter panels on both sides of your vehicle that detect when another vehicle enters your blind spot areas (radars can only detect vehicles, not pedestrians or other objects).
blis rear mirror
  • When the radars detect a vehicle entering the blind spot area in the lane next to you, a light appears in your side mirror so you know not to change lanes in that direction. BLIS activates automatically when you start driving.
